Who are Candidates For Coolsculpting?

 reviews

Coolsculpting treatment is a fat reducing procedure that involves cooling the body area to be treated. This procedure literally destroys fat cells on the body by freezing fat cells hence programming fat cells to naturally self destruct in a process called apoptosis.
The process involves the use of a vacuum to pull or suck fats from the body between cooling plates where it is then frozen at a specific temperature for at least an hour. This temperature does not affect other parts of your body e.g. skin, nerves, blood vessels etc the procedure is completely safe.

Ideal candidate for Coolsculpting

The ideal candidate for this procedure should be between 20 to 30 pounds of target weight. Although many coolsculpting patients exercise regularly and are in good shape, an hour of treatment is often recommended as a viable solution to remove the stubborn fats that exercise and diet can not remove.
Each treatment can result to between 20 to 25 percent loss of fat in the treated region, with up to 40 percent loss of fats in double treatment, this fat removal is enough to bring any bulge in line with the rest of your body.

What to expect doing the procedure

The treatment process is painless and brings a feeling similar to a vacuum when placed on your skin. You may feel minor pull but it soon fades away as the cooling effect takes charge. In fact there is no need of anesthesia and soon after the treatment you can go on with your normal live.

Side effects of coolsculpting by Zeltiq

There are no serious reported long term side effects from Crylipolysis coolsculpting, however, bruising, numbness of the skin and transient redness are the common side effects that come with this procedure. These side effects usually fade away just days after the coolsculpting treatment is complete.
